This photo-documentary work seeks to capture the spirit of the performers that fight to keep their culture and traditions of the Chinese Opera alive. Faced with a new generation that is less engaged with these kinds of cultural performances, these performers maintain commitment to their craft.

This series was created while on a work-exchange during my time as a film lab technician, working out of Batu Pahat for FilmNeverDie.
